Yasseen Mansour has been a driving force behind the growth of Palm Hills Developments. He serves as Chairman & Group CEO of the Board of Directors and has guided the company from its first projects in 1997 into a leading real estate player in Egypt.
Known from an early age amongst his family and friends to possess a strong business sense, from the onset of his career in 1986 at Mansour Motors Group, Mr. Mansour has led the companies he owns and presides over to new highs.
Philanthropic endeavors have always been a primary pursuit for Mr. Mansour. But what others do not know is that He is the co-founder and active member of Lead Foundation, a joint project with the World Bank that aims to support the development of SME's; an active board member of The National Cancer Institute, a member of the Takatof Association, CEO of Al-Mansour and Al-Maghraby Investment Company, which was incorporated in 1996 and is one of the largest private investment funds in Egypt. He is also a Board Member in Mantrac, Unatrac, Accor Hotels, as well as the largest media companies in Egypt, Man Capital and McDonald’s Egypt.
Mohamed Mansour holds the position of Managing Director of ManFoods McDonalds Egypt, also he is managing his new Investment Company acting as Chairman and Managing Director of Infinity Capital Ltd & Infinity Developments SAE. In addition, he is board member of Mantrac and MMID.
Mr. Mansour holds a bachelor’s degree from Babson College 1997 in Finance.
Hazem Badran has been the Co-CEO and Managing Director of Palm Hills Developments since mid-2021. Prior to joining Palm Hills Developments, Hazem Badran was CI Capital’s Co-CEO. Badran brings more than 22 years of experience in corporate finance and investment banking in the MENA region. During his most recent position, Badran played a significant role in turning around CI Capital to be the premium investment bank and financial services group in Egypt since he joined in January 2013. Prior to that, Badran had a nine-year career at EFG Hermes, where he played a notable role as a senior executive in growing the EFG Hermes franchise into the largest investment bank in the MENA region.
Badran held numerous key positions at EFG Hermes including CEO of EFG Hermes for the Levant, and Managing Director for Promotion Department and underwriting coverage.
Badran holds a BA in Business Administration from the Arab Academy for Science and Technology and has completed courses in Investment Assessment, Project Finance and Risk Analysis at the Harvard Institute
Badran is a Board member of Taaleem Management Services and also chairs the Investments Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt.
Tarek Tantawy is Palm Hills Developments’ Co-CEO & Managing Director since mid-2021. During his career, he has successfully led companies to sales growth, business expansion, operational efficiency, and significant profitability. Tantawy combines experience and expertise to meet challenges through a proven track record of operational leadership, strategy development, team building, financial management, as well as relationship management.
Prior to joining Palm Hills Developments in June 2021, Tantawy held several senior roles in leading Egyptian companies, including CO-CEO and Managing Director of CI Capital and CEO and Managing Director of Telecom Egypt, Vice President and CFO of Telecom Egypt, CFO of IDJ-Beyti (a JV of Almarai & Pepsico), Vice President of the Investment Banking division at Sigma Capital, and Senior Consultant in the Corporate Finance division at FinRate Consulting.
Tantawy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Engineering from the American University in Cairo, Egypt, and an MBA from Edinburgh Business School in the United Kingdom, and is a CFA charter holder. He attended executive education programs in Kellogg Graduate School of Management in the United States and IESA Business School in Spain.
Ali Thabet has over 35 years of experience in the field of finance and accounting, 22 of which spent in Palm Hills Developments, when he first joined in the capacity of Vice President for Finance, Accounting and Administration, and was promoted to CFO in 2011.
Previously, Mr. Thabet ran his own office for Chartered Accounting and Financial Management Services.
He also acts a consultant for the Egyptian Society for Public Finances and Taxes.
Mr. Thabet holds a B.Sc. Commerce, as well as Auditing and Taxation High Diploma from Ain Shams University, and a MIBA (Master in International Business Administration) from the ESLSCA Business School.
Hassan Darwish is the Executive Vice President of El Mansour & El Maghraby Investment & Development Co. and the Chairman & CEO of Royal Insurance Co. He also currently holds the position of Chairman of Maccor, Neema for Tourism Investment Co. and Novotel for Hotels Co. He is a Board Member of Palm Hills Developments & The Egyptian Insurance Institute. Prior to joining MMID in June 2000, Mr. Darwish was a Board Member in El Gabr Group from 1985 to 1996. In 1997 he managed to successfully establish El Ahram Company for Insurance. Mr. Darwish received a BA degree in Commerce from Alexandria University.
Omar Mohanna is Chairman of Suez Cement Group of Companies (SCGC), the second leading cement producer in Egypt and a subsidiary of the German Multinational Group Heidelberg Cement AG, one of the world leading cement producers. SCGC is comprised of Suez Cement Co., Tourah Portland Cement Co., Helwan Cement Co., and has as subsidiaries a number other cement related companies and operations in Egypt and the region.
Amr El Garhy was the Minister of Finance from 2016 to 2018. Mr. El-Garhy started his career back in 1981 at Chase National Bank, which was transformed into CIB in 1986. He then worked at CIB for ten years from 1986 to 2006. In 2006 he was selected as part of the team mandated to establish and manage Commercial International Investment Company. In 2002 , he joined EFG Hermes as board member and Managing Director as well as Co-headed its investment banking operations. In December 2004, he was selected to become Vice Chairman and Managing Director of National Investment Bank reporting directly to the Minister of Finance. He assumed such post and function until end March 2013. During May 2013 - February 2016, Mr. ElGarhy became board member and Managing Director of Citadel Capital holding.
As the Vice Chairman of NAEEM Holding, Youssef M. Medhat El Far is responsible for developing and setting the overall strategy and vision of the company. Mr. Youssef holds a BA in Commerce from Alexandria University. Mr. El Far oversees the company's operations to ensure efficient and high-quality management of resources in addition to promoting the company to local, regional and international constituencies. In addition to his executive role at NAEEM, Mr. El Far also currently serves as: Board member of Coldwell Banker - Middle East; Chairman of Coldwell Banker – UAE; Board member of Ishraqa Real Estate – UAE; Board member of Smart Village
Mahmoud Loutfy Mansour is currently the VSM of Mansour Automotive Company. He is currently on the Advisory Board of the MAC Group that has operations in Iraq, Libya, Ghana and Uganda.
With more than 30 years of local & regional banking experience, Tamer joined Arab African International Bank in the early 90s, in which he assumed many roles spanning over different lines of business; including Treasury, foreign operations, FIs, NBFIs, & corporate banking activities. Along his career, Tamer has overseen AAIB’s treasury room & maintained it as one of the leading in the market regionally, then shifted to foreign operations based in Dubai whereby he significantly boosted their contribution to AAIB Group’s financial position. Tamer is currently the Assistant Managing Director - Group Chief Business Officer, through which he is leading Treasury & Capital Markets, Corporate & Institutional Banking, Financial Institutions, SMEs businesses and subsidiaries/Long-term investments, along with AAIB Foreign branches. Additionally, He is an active leader in professional associations where he is the Chairman of ICA and member of ACIFMA board of education. He has served as chairman & board member in several companies in different sectors such as Microfinance, Brokerage, asset management, real estate developments and banks locally and internationally.
With her wide reservoir of HR experience, human development, executive & transformational coaching, and business knowledge; Dr. El Bendary, acting as a strategic partner in organizations, has held various leading HR executive positions across a pool of diversified sectors. She was responsible for driving company’s human resources strategies and delivering global programs to create a positive employee experience and an engaging culture with high performance.
Having graduated from the American University in Cairo with a B.A. in Middle Eastern studies, Dr. El Bendary attained her Doctorate degree in Emotional Intelligence. Capitalizing on her vigorous experience in human development, Dr. El Bendary had been teaching Human Resources Management as well as Organization Behavior for MBA students in different reputable educational academies.
She is Certified Executive Professional Coach(PCC) from ICF- International Coaching Federation, USA. She became a Certified Director by attaining Corporate Directors Certification from the EIOD, the Egyptian Institute of Directors 2021.
She is a board member of Palm Sports Clubs & Palm for Mortgage Finance.
